Caminar entre los otros
Mónica Naranjo Uribe
Place: Bogota (Colombia)

Publication inspired by the center of Bogotá, specifically in the pedestrian section of the Carrera 7 (from 24th Street to 11th Street / Plaza de Bolivar).

There is an invisible wave, which is configured daily and constantly, among those who move around the public space of the city, which is woven through looks, hand movements, grazes, gestures and rhythms of walking. Each city has its own pulse and rhythm of life, we synchronize intimately and instinctively to it, as a way to adapt and survive. Caminar entre los otros (Walking among the others) reviews these subtle patterns and gestures, looking for what the city can communicate from its most invisible levels, which go beyond its architectural or urban configuration, and reveals itself in its most lively dimension: the human.
